Dear Friends and family, 

We are delighted to have you here at our Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser webpage. Your presence on this digital platform signifies your commitment to making a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can amplify awareness, drive change, and support those affected by this challenging journey. We want to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be impacted by breast cancer in their lifetime, which is why we’ve created a team to fundraise to support Komen’s vision of a world without breast cancer. 

About every 2 minutes, one case of breast cancer is diagnosed in the U.S. and about every 46 seconds someone dies from breast cancer globally, making that about 1,876 women and men daily. Breast cancer is a global issue that affects millions of lives, and it's through collective action and compassionate hearts that we can make a difference.

October “Go Pink” Fridays

This October, we’re turning every Friday into a chance to take action in the fight against breast cancer—raising funds and awareness for Susan G. Komen through fun, meaningful, and community-driven activities!

Location: Primrose School of Midtown OKC

Here’s what’s in store:

Pink Cookie Fridays

We’re adding a special twist to our beloved 'Cookie Friday' tradition—each week we’ll be selling  pink cookies and/or pink lemonade, with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen. Sweet treats for a sweet cause!

Pink Out Fridays – Primrose Spirit Style
Each Friday in October, we’ll show our support by wearing pink! Staff will have custom Pink Primrose shirts, and students and families are encouraged to join in. Let’s fill our school with pink pride!

Running Ribbons – “Paint the School Pink”
Our halls will transform into a tribute of love and hope. Pink running ribbons will be available for purchase at the front desk, each honoring someone special. Every ribbon brings us closer to a world without breast cancer.

Pink Handprint Wall
Students can leave a pink handprint on our “Hands for Hope” wall, symbolizing their support. Families can donate for their child to participate—creating a lasting, heartfelt display for our school community.

Every dollar raised will help fund research, provide patient support, and advance Susan G. Komen’s mission to end breast cancer forever. Together, we can make every Friday in October a day of hope, action, and impact.
