What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
Breast cancer has impacted the lives of so many of my family and friends. Last year I lost my best friend to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. During her fight she received an outpouring of support from family, friend, and strangers that became friends. The resources and programs offered through Susan G. Komen connected her with were instrumental in her journey with breast cancer. I am passionate about helping further the mission of research and providing direct support to those fighting breast cancer.
Where might people get to see you with your wig on?
You just never know! I plan on "wigging out" on team zoom calls, while in the office, at the gym and even on date nights out.
What will be your competitive edge against the other BigWigs?
This is my first time as a "BigWig" so I am optimistic I can convince many first time donators to support this important cause.
What is one fun fact about you?
My husband and I foster puppies for our local animal rescue. Don't be surprised if you see one of our foster dogs also sporting a pink wig this month!
