My Story
On December 4, 2025, at 50 years old, I received the words that changed my life: "You have breast cancer." I was diagnosed with Stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma.
Since then, my journey has included multiple surgeries, a bilateral mastectomy, hormone therapy, major reconstruction, complications, infection, and an unexpected emergency surgery.
Through the pain, setbacks, tears, and uncertainty, my faith—and the incredible people walking beside me—have carried me.
On October 25, 2026, less than one year after my diagnosis, I will participate in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in Los Angeles as part of Team My Breasties!
I'll walk for myself and how far I've come, for those currently fighting, for the newly diagnosed, for survivors and thrivers, for the families and caregivers who stand beside us, and in memory of those who are no longer here to walk with us.
This is what My Breasties represents to me:
Walking Together. Fighting Together.
If you're able, please consider donating to my fundraiser or joining Team My Breasties and walking beside me! Whether you donate, walk, share, or simply keep all those affected by breast cancer in your prayers, every bit of support means more than you know.
Every Step Has a Purpose.
One day at a time. One step at a time.
FAITH OVER FEAR.
Thank you in advance for supporting Team My Breasties and for being part of this journey with me.
