This is when we’ll get ready for the Opening Ceremony and our Survivor/Thriver celebration kicking off our Pathway of Hope! While in Hope Village make sure you grab a postcard for ShareForCures, Komen’s breast cancer research registry focused on finding the cures for breast cancer. Learn how you can accelerate discoveries, make an impact and be a catalyst for change!

Activities for Survivors & Those Living with MBC
This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:
Hope Village Celebration | 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Join us in the Hope Village area for light breakfast, goodies, photo ops and a chance to meet other survivors and thrivers. Each survivor/thriver can bring in 1 person into Hope village. You will receive a ticket to enter and redeem your goodie bag upon check in.
Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade | 9:30 a.m.
All survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will walk, united, into our Opening Ceremony.

Grab a ShareForCures postcard in Hope Village and dive into the groundbreaking world of Komen’s ShareForCures, a research registry focused only on finding the cures for breast cancer. Be part of something extraordinary and empower the fight against breast cancer. Your participation accelerates discoveries, making a real impact on lives. Don't miss this chance to be a catalyst for change!
Your Event T-shirt
All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Activities for Top Fundraisers & Teams
Susan G. Komen’s work would not be possible without our fundraisers. It is our honor to recognize those fundraisers who go above and beyond with their efforts and support – our Top Individuals and Top Teams.
On event morning, follow the Top Fundraiser signs to the area reserved just for you! You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd, and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by generous local partners.
Your Walk T-shirt
All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Survivors are not required to fundraise to receive a shirt. If you do not register and fundraise your first $100 prior to 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026, please allow 6-8 weeks after the Walk occurs for your t-shirt to arrive in the mail.
Teams who raise $2,500+
Every team that raises $2,500 or more will receive a tent and table in our Top Teams area. We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks and items to share with your team members. The funds raised must be done by October 1, 2026 in order to have a place in the Top Teams Area. An email will be sent to you to confirm that there is a space for you in Top Teams.

Local T-Shirt Details
We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .
Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.
*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.
How long is the Walk?
The is approximately a one mile loop around the park. You can go around the park 3 times for an official 5K distance.
Getting to the Event and Parking
Please check back closer to the event for detailed parking information and event maps.
Free street parking is limited.
Public transportation is also available to the Los Angeles State Historic Park!
Are strollers allowed at the event?
Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!
Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?
Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your pet(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your pet and other event participants.
What is the deadline for fundraising?
All donations on your behalf will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives. To receive a Fundraising T-shirt, you must raise $100 by at 11:59 p.m. CT.
2026 Komen Legends
Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, including the 2026 Komen Los Angeles MORE THAN PINK Walk, 2026 Race for the Cure, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising.
