On Monday, July 28, 2025 I heard the words no one wants to hear, “You have cancer.”
The following weeks and months were taken over with Dr appointments, tests, scans, treatments, chemo, surgery, radiation….
It’s been over a year and I am almost done with treatment. I am excited to share that my recent mammogram showed NO SIGNS of Breast Cancer. Treatment has not been easy, but it WORKS!!! I have handled it all with an amazing support network and a good dose of humor.
Last year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. When I walked last year, I was living with cancer. This year I am walking as a SURVIVOR!
