9:15 a.m. | Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer meet at Hope Village.
While in Hope Village make sure you grab a postcard on ShareForCures, Komen’s breast cancer research registry focused on finding the cures for breast cancer. Learn how you can accelerate discoveries, make an impact, and be a catalyst for change!

Honor survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer as they walk down the Pathway of Hope; celebrate our top fundraisers; and listen to inspiring stories of resilience.

This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:

Hope Village Celebration | 9:15 a.m.

Join us in the Hope Village area for a group photo! This is also where we’ll get ready for the Pathway of Hope.

Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade | 9:25 a.m.

All survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer will unite and walk into our Opening Ceremony.

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Activities for Top Fundraisers & Teams

Susan G. Komen’s work would not be possible without our fundraisers. It is our honor to recognize those fundraisers who go above and beyond with their efforts and support – our Top Individuals and Top Teams. 

All Top Individuals and Top Teams gain exclusive access to our VIP/ Top Fundraiser Tent! On event morning, follow the Top Fundraiser signs to the area reserved just for you. You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by generous local partners.

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+

• Top 10 Fundraisers get listed on the Jumbotron at the Walk
• Top 3 Fundraisers get shout-outs in our Opening Ceremony at the Walk
• Top Fundraiser gets invited on stage in our Opening Ceremony at the Walk to receive a special gift

Top Teams – Teams who raise $2,500+

• All top teams have a chance to be featured on the Jumbotron at the Walk
• Top 10 Teams will receive a tent and table in our Team Village area! We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks, and items to share with your team members
• Top 10 Team captains will receive free VIP Parking at the walk
• Top 10 Teams get listed on the Jumbotron at the Walk
• Top 3 Teams get shout-outs in our Opening Ceremony at the Walk
• TOP Team gets a photo on the Jumbotron AND the More Than Pink Walk Facebook Page

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Survivors are not required to fundraise to receive a shirt. If you do not register and fundraise your first $100 prior to 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 20, 2026, please allow 6-8 weeks after the Walk occurs for your t-shirt to arrive in the mail.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by Sunday, September 6, 2026. Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after Sunday, September 6, 2026 will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is Sunday, November 1, 2026.

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

How long is the Walk?

The 2026 Komen Central Jersey MORE THAN PINK Walk will be 2.5 miles in length, or you may choose to walk our shorter 1 mile route.

Getting to the Event and Parking

The event will be held on the UMass Boston Campus Center Lawn.

Pay to Park: If arriving by car, park in the Quad Lot or Lot D.
Download the Passport Parking App beforehand to ensure smooth payment.

Public Transportation: Free shuttles will be in service from the MBTA JFK/UMass Station.

Ride Share: Drop off is at the Campus Center South.

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your pet(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your pet and other event participants.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives. To receive a Fundraising T-shirt, you must raise $100 by Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

2026 Komen Legends

Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, including the 2026 Komen Massachusetts MORE THAN PINK Walk, 2026 Race for the Cure, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising.
