Walking for MB
Marybeth (MB to her pals) is the light that shines on so many of our lives, showing us the way toward grace, courage, gratitude, kindness, love and often a good book. Earlier this summer she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. After 14 chemotherapy treatments over the last few months, and only two more to go, she is hangin' tough and her spirits are high.
We want to acknowledge all the scientists and doctors who have worked tirelessly to develop visionary screening and treatment protocols that continue to improve each and every day. And a huge thank you to the nurses who stand by their patients day in and day out during some of their most challenging and frightening moments. You are angels.
While we are collectively making great progress, we can't stop supporting those that are on the front lines every day. As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
