Two battles. Two victories. One incredibly grateful heart.

My breast cancer journey has changed me in ways I never could have imagined. I wear my scars as reminders of what I’ve survived, my strength as proof of what I’m capable of, and my life as a reason to keep raising awareness.

In 2026, an estimated 321,910 women in the United States will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and approximately 42,140 women will lose their lives to this disease. The good news is that today, the overall 5-year relative survival rate for breast cancer is about 91%, and for breast cancer caught before it has spread beyond the breast, the 5-year relative survival rate is 100%.

But behind every statistic is a woman. A mother. A daughter. A sister. A wife. A friend. A life that matters.

As for me, I’m Amanda, a two-time breast cancer survivor. My journey has taught me that life is precious, strength can come from the places we never expected, and sometimes surviving means becoming a voice for those who are still fighting.
