United on the Ice, United for a Cure: Support OWHL in the Fight Against Breast Cancer! 

The Ozaukee Women's Hockey League (OWHL) has always been about more than just hockey. We are a community of women from all walks of life who show up for each other, whether we are skating on the ice or supporting one another off of it. 

Every year, our league rallies together to give back through blood drives, holiday gift drives, and Turkey Trots. This year, we are taking on a powerful new mission. We are proudly teaming up with Susan G. Komen® to help end breast cancer forever. 

This cause hits incredibly close to home for our OWHL family. We have teammates who have faced breast cancer head-on, won their battles, and returned to the ice stronger than ever. We have courageous sisters still fighting the fight today, counting down the days until they can lace up their skates again. And nearly all of us have friends, mothers, daughters, or family members whose lives have been touched by this disease. 

When we skate, we play as a team—and ending breast cancer takes all of us. 

The funds we raise will directly support groundbreaking research to discover more effective treatments and cures. Just as importantly, it will provide vital real-time support to patients and families right now—connecting them with breast cancer education, emotional support, patient navigation, and financial assistance.
