This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:

Hope Village Celebration | 7:30 - 10:00 a.m.

RAIN OR SHINE — we’ll be at the lakefront showing breast cancer who’s boss! This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. You’ll find Hope Village at the Johnsonville Brat Stage inside Henry Maier Festival Park’s Northgate. To help you get ready, here’s everything you need to know:

• Enjoy breakfast provided by Bartolotta Restaurants
• Pick up your goodie bag sponsored by City of Hope
• Try out and take home Wisconsin Ford Dealers special support seat belt for post mastectomy patients
• Get airbrush tattoos from Purple Sea
• Relax with hot coffee from Valentine Roasters and cold beverages from Pepsi
• Visit the Hope Village Market with great services, gifts, and information just for you survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer are welcome to bring ONE buddy into Hope Village with them!

Prepare for the Parade of Hope | 8:40 a.m.

Start getting ready to line up for the Parade of Hope just south of Hope Village. Say a temporary goodbye to your team, family, and friends and tell them to grab a great spot near the stage to cheer for you! You can now be on your way to the line up area!
If you’d like, wear your Pink Survivor or Teal Metastatic patient MTP Walk shirt if you registered in time to receive it before the Walk. Of course, you are welcome to wear anything you would like - this is your parade after all!

Your guest and loved ones should move toward the front of the U.S. Cellular Stage while you line up. The parade will lead you to a reserved area right in front of the stage. Be sure to tell family and friends to watch for you during the parade and ceremony (in person and on the Jumbotron!). Pick a meeting spot with loved ones for after the ceremony so you can walk together.

Parade of Hope | 8:45 to 8:50 a.m.

Time to be at the Parade of Hope Line-up directly in front of the Team Village Area by to join your fellow survivors/patients. Find your category to know where to stand look for volunteers who will be holding signs that designate years or survivorship (0 to 25+) and metastatic patients.
Parade organizers will be right there to help everyone know how and when the parade will move forward through the crowd right at the beginning of the program (9a.m.) we will all proceed through the ‘chute’ lined with folks cheering you on and head to a reserved spot stage front.
Komen Executive Director and fellow cancer patient will lead the parade - if you are in front of Nikki you are leaving too early! Metastatic patients will go first, followed by survivors starting with the 25+ years group down to our 0 to 1 year Walkers.

The program begins and the Parade of Hope moves toward the stage| 9:00 a.m.

Find connection with your fellow survivors and patients, hgh-five the firefighters holding the path open for you, be moved by however you’re feeling - wave, cheer, laugh, or cry (perhaps all of those all at once)! Watch for yourself on the Jumbotron and definitely soak up all the support coming your way from your team, your friends and family, and from a truly loving crowd! Note: Anyone needing a little extra help just let us know and we will make sure you can participate safely and easily!

The program ends and the MTP Walk Begins| 9:20ish a.m.

Reunite with your team, friends, or family. You will likely see them easily, but you might want to make a plan as to where you will meet after the program to start off on the Walk! There are lots of visible ‘landmarks’ to choose from! Then head out around Summerfest and through beautiful Lake Shore State Park.

Crossing the Finish Line

When you cross the finish line, get ready to be celebrated! Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special pink rose from Welke’s House of Roses, presented by the Milwaukee Fire Department. Look out for Nikki’s inflatable costume surprise, hug a firefighter, grab a snack at the food court, visit more sponsor booths, and dance it out at the post-walk party with DJ, Retired Milwaukee Firefighter, Bill Code!

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+

On event morning, follow the Top Fundraiser signs to the area reserved just for you! You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd, and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by generous local partners. 

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Survivors are not required to fundraise to receive a shirt. If you do not register and fundraise your first $100 prior to 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2026, please allow 6-8 weeks after the Walk occurs for your t-shirt to arrive in the mail.

Team Village — Exclusive for Teams Raising $3,000+

Teams that raise $3,000 or more will receive access to Team Village at the MORE THAN PINK Walk.

Located next to the Johnsonville Stage, Team Village is a designated area with reserved picnic table space for qualifying teams to gather, connect, and celebrate their fundraising success.

Each qualifying team will receive:

• Reserved picnic table space for your team
• A centralized meeting and rallying point throughout the event
• Complimentary breakfast items, such as bagels, donuts, fruit, and juice

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

How long is the Walk?

The Komen Wisconsin MORE THAN PINK Walk will be 2 miles in length, or you may choose to walk our shorter 1 mile route.

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

No. For the safety of event participants/due to local regulations, only service animals will be allowed at the event.

Henry Maier Festival Park Clear Bag & Carry In Policy:

In line with all other major venues and stadiums, all Susan G Komen volunteers and Walk participants will enter Henry Maier Park through metal detection and should be prepared to comply with other security screening requirements.
Permitted Bags

• Clear bags only (plastic, vinyl, PVC, drawstring, or cinch-style) not exceeding 12” x 12” x 6”
• Small clutches, small bags, wallets, or fanny packs not exceeding 6” x 9”

Size Rule

• Bags larger than 6” x 9” must be clear and may not exceed 12” x 12” x 6”.

Not Permitted

• Backpacks
• Large non-clear bags
• Any bag exceeding the size limits

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives. To receive a Fundraising T-shirt, you must raise $100 by at 11:59 p.m. CT.

2026 Komen Legends

Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, including the 2026 Wisconsin MORE THAN PINK Walk | Susan G. Komen, 2026 Race for the Cure, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising. Local Fundraising Challenges

All Komen Wisconsin Team Captains are part of the Team Captain Ribbon Challenge where they earn ‘Ribbons’ for team building, donating, fundraising — and encouraging their teammates to do the same. Ribbons earned then turn into rewards for the captains and their team members.

The Ribbon Challenge goes from now through October 27. Aim your sights on Walk day then keep the momentum going through Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
