We welcome you to be a member of Bernice's Girl Scouts for the CureMore Than Pink Walk Team! As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
The team is named in honor of Bernice Gruber (1923 to 2010) - a breast cancer survivor as well as a loving mom and enthusiastic Girl Scout Leader! Girl scouts who register for the team and come to the Walk on September 27th will receive a fun team t-shirt while supplies last.
Girls Scouts and their Troops are encouraged to learn more about ways you can partner with Komen Wisconsin to support local breast cancer patients, volunteer, and help learn and spread healthy messages about reducing the risk of breast cancer!
Together, Bernice's Girl Scouts for the Cure team members raise awareness of the importance of funding research to discover more effective treatments, as well as providing vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
Please join us as a proud member of Bernice's Girls Scouts for the Cure!
Everyone is invited to join this team - Girl scouts and others under age 18 should be registered by a parent or guardian. (special note: Girl Scouts are not required to fundraise to be on this team. That is an optional and personal family decision.)
