My Story
Susan G. Komen has been a part of my life for a long time. From volunteering to fundraising, I’ve supported this mission for years. But today, it feels more personal than ever.
From family to friends, breast cancer has hit far too close to home. With people in my inner circle battling this awful disease, I’m more motivated than ever to do something about it. It still blows my mind that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
This year, I’m participating in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk to help fund research, support those facing breast cancer today, and push us closer to a future without this disease.
And there is still so much work to do. There is currently no cure for metastatic breast cancer. We need to change that.
Every donation helps fund breakthrough research while also providing critical resources for patients and families, including emotional support, financial assistance, and help navigating care.
I’m walking for the people I love who have faced breast cancer, for those fighting it right now, and for a future where fewer people have to hear those devastating words.
This cause has been important to me for years. Now it means more than ever. If you’re able, I’d be incredibly grateful if you would join me by making a donation. Together, we can make a difference.
