My Story
This is my fifth year participating in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk, and this cause continues to be deeply personal to me and my family.
I walk in memory of my mom, who we lost to breast cancer, and in honor of the many women in my family who have been affected by this disease. My cousin, who is thankfully in remission, will be walking with us again this year. I’m also walking in support of Kevin’s aunt, who was diagnosed with breast cancer this year and has undergone treatment.
Breast cancer has touched so many people we love, which is why supporting research, patient care, financial assistance, and access to treatment matters so much to me. Last year, with the support of family and friends, I raised more than $1,700, and our team—the McBride Family Warriors—raised nearly $7,400. I’m hoping to continue that momentum this year.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation to support my fundraising efforts. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps bring us closer to a world without breast cancer. Thank you for standing with me and my family.
