My Story
A year ago, my annual mammogram showed something suspicious on it. After a follow-up mammogram and a biopsy, I was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS). Fortunately it was diagnosed as Stage 0 and hadn't spread at all. After a lumpectomy and radiation, I hope that I am now cancer free forever.
So what can I do to give back? I try to walk 10,000 steps every day. So why not walk to support research and treatment for breast cancer?
