Angels of Strength was created in memory of my amazing mother who passed away July 20, 2023 from breast cancer. My mother was funny, caring, goofy, loving, passionate, creative and was my best friend. Keeping her legacy alive is something I try to do every day...remembering how much she did for others and was always there when you needed someone to lean on. I watched her fight a tough fight for almost 2 years but the cancer eventually took her away from us. She was so amazingly strong as she faced the challenges of living with breast cancer and trying to live a life of quality. She was a beloved GiGi, mother, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, friend, grandma and great grandma. Each year, I raise funds in her memory to help Susan G. Komen work towards ending breast cancer for good. 

Just recently, I found out that I am at high risk to get hormone positive breast cancer, 47% chance that I will get it within my lifetime so that motivates me even more to do my part to help end breast cancer. 

As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their  mission to end breast cancer forever.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
