8:30 a.m. | Opening Ceremony
Honor survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer as they walk down the Pathway of Hope; celebrate our top fundraisers; and listen to inspiring stories of resilience.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be in our group photo! Gather in Hope Village to take our 2025 photo and to line up for the Pathway of Hope. While in Hope Village make sure you grab a postcard on ShareForCures, Komen’s breast cancer research registry focused on finding the cures for breast cancer. Hope Village Celebration

Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer and a guest can join us in Hope Village before and after the MORE THAN PINK Walk. Hope Village is our place to celebrate the power of our breast cancer community with food and drinks, activities, and a special place for you to enjoy the walk day.

Pathway of Hope/Survivor Photo & Parade | 8:45 a.m.

All survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will take a group photo and prepare to walk, united, into our Opening Ceremony.

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Susan G. Komen’s work would not be possible without our fundraisers. It is our honor to recognize those fundraisers who go above and beyond with their efforts and support – our Top Individuals and Top Teams. 

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+ and Team Captains of $2,500+ Teams

On event morning we invite you to join us in Hope Village for a special celebration of your efforts. Enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Top Teams – Teams who raise $2,500+

Every team that raises $2,500 or more will receive a tent in our Tent City. We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks and items to share with team members and decorations for your tent to make it shine during the event.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

How long is the Walk?

The will be be approximately 1 mile in length with an alternate 5K option for those walkers who prefer a longer route. Directional signs will point walkers to their desired route.

Getting to the Event and Parking

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Pets are not permitted at SeaWorld San Antonio. Service animals are permitted at the park.

Service animals must remain on a leash or harness and/or under the control of its handler at all times and be house broken. If at any time your service animal’s behavior is out of control, you will be asked to remove your service animal from the premises. Service animals must remain a reasonable distance from the Park’s resident animals.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf that are received through at 11:59 p.m. CT will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives.
