Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you know, Allie Matthews (daughter of Ken and Elise Haderer) was diagnosed this year with Breast Cancer. While Allie's treatment is going well, this year alone, more than 300,000 people living in the US are expected to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer. And while great strides have been made in prevention and treatment, there is still so much work to be done to find the cures to end this terrible disease.
On October 25, Susan G. Komen is holding a Virtual Walk. We've formed a team called Allie's Pink Posse. You Walk Where You Are, however long you'd like. Or you can join us in Long Beach Island, New Jersey or on Seabrook Island, South Carolina to walk as a group.
More details and sign-up are on this fundraising page.
For an additional $25 (Venmo to @Judy-Cavalieri), you will also receive an Allie's Pink Posse T-shirt. Please email Judy_Cavalieri@yahoo.com with sizes (unisex) by October 15. All profits will be donated to Susan G. Komen.
All the best,
Judy Cavalieri and Sue Rowe
