I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in April 2024. A small mass was detected during routine mammogram. I am a poster girl for the value of mammograms in later life (I'm 72) because the cancer had not spread to the surrounding tissue or lymph nodes. I've had a lumpectomy and radiation treatments and am now on estrogen-inhibiting medication.

This will be my second More Than Pink Walk. My beloved sister and friends will be joining me once again to celebrate my second chance at life, and to raise funds that help others receive the same blessing.
