I was diagnosed with stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma insitu on May 4, 2023. Roughly a month later I under went a lumpectomy to remove the tumor. I spent the summer recovering from surgery. The next step to beating cancer was 19 rounds of radiation (end of August- beginning September). My most recent scan was on March 19th, 2024. The scans showed no malignancy! I will continue to meet with my oncologist every few months and have another scan in a year. Thank you all for your help, support, and prayers during this journey! I am so blessed!
