What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
At GE HealthCare, we often talk about creating a world where healthcare has no limits. For me, breast cancer makes that vision feel very real. I’ve seen friends, family members, and colleagues go through it, and I’ve witnessed how it impacts entire families and communities. I also lost my mom to cancer (not breast cancer), so this mission is deeply personal. And with a wife and twin daughters at home, I’m especially motivated to help build a world where breast cancer is something we learn about in history class—not something families face in a doctor’s office.
What makes you VIPink?
I’m VIPink because when something matters, I’m all in. I’m fueled by community, a little grit, and a lot of heart. And full transparency—my twin daughters are running my social media campaign, so if you see extra enthusiasm (and a little chaos), you can thank them.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
Friendly competition only—but I’m coming in strong! My edge is my network. Working in business development has connected me with a lot of people, and I’m not shy about asking them to show up for a great cause. Plus, the twins will be making regular guest appearances—so resistance may be futile.
Give us one fun fact about you
I’ve never had a cavity—and apparently about 93% of people my age have had at least one!
