What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
I lost my best friend to breast cancer, and walking alongside her during her diagnosis showed me just how critical support, resources, and community are in the fight against this disease. I saw firsthand the difference access to information and care can make, and I also felt the heartbreak of knowing not everyone gets the same chance. Being part of Susan G. Komen allows me to honor her life while working toward a future where fewer families have to experience that kind of loss.
What makes you VIPink?
I’m VIPink because I lead with heart, purpose, and action. Whether in my professional life or in my community, I believe in using my voice and visibility to uplift others and open doors to opportunity and care. Supporting Susan G. Komen is personal for me, and I’m committed to turning love for my friend into advocacy, awareness, and real impact for others facing breast cancer.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
My edge is a combination of heart, hustle, and community. I don’t just show up, I bring people with me. As a lifelong connector and community leader, I know how to rally networks across education, business, and local organizations around a cause that truly matters. When I believe in something, I go all in, and this mission is deeply personal. I’ll be turning relationships into action, awareness into giving, and purpose into momentum.
Give us one fun fact about you
I have a pink flamingo tattoo behind my left ear as a reminder to live vibrantly enjoying the people and places I love.
