What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
Breast cancer has touched my extended family, including the loss of my sister-in-law after her battle with breast cancer and other cancers. I have seen firsthand how deeply it affects not just the individual, but everyone around them. Cancer is not just a diagnosis. It is a family and community challenge. That experience reeinforced for me the importance of early detection, research, and access to care. I am proud to support Susan G. Komen as a Pink Tie Guy this year becasue awareness and funding truly save lives for both women and men. I am committed to doing my part to help move us closer to ending breast cancer.
What makes you VIPink?
What makes me VIPink is my willingness to show up publicly for this cause. As a male advocate, I believe it’s important to stand visibly in support of women’s health and raise awareness that breast cancer impacts entire families, including men. I’m committed to using my voice, network, and leadership to help raise funds and bring attention to early detection and research that save lives.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
My competitive edge is the combination of personal connection and professional influence I bring to this role. Having witnessed breast cancer’s impact on my own family and seeing my father dedicate his career to helping thousands of women, I am deeply committed to advancing Komen’s mission. I leverage my community leadership, network, and communication skills to amplify awareness and drive meaningful support for the cause.
