Having worked in healthcare my entire career, I've often seen the effects of breast cancer take it's devastating toll on individuals and families. Providing excellent care and support to patients in need has always been and will continue to be my passion in life.
What makes you VIPink?
I have been granted many opportunities in my career and am very fortunate to be in a place of influence in the local community. With this visibility comes the responsibility and also the reward of getting to use it in positive ways. I am honored to be able to serve as a 2026 Susan G. Komen VIPink Ambassador.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
Being in the healthcare world has given me a behind the scene look at the obstacles that breast cancer patients face and an understanding of their needs, not only as they navigate fighting this terrible disease but also as they live with the life long scars that it leaves on the body and the soul.
