What makes you VIPink? I'm very outgoing and have a direct personal connection to the effects of cancer and how people need to hear a voice on early detection and prevention. Sharing how important it is to get check-ups and support that is needed for anyone going through cancer. I have a passion for others and engaging in getting the message out to others.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors? I'm on LinkedIn often and have a large client base that I engage with on a regular basis. My goal is to not only help raise funds, but also bring attention to the importance of breast cancer and the great work that Komen Foundation does for awareness and support. Also have challenges between fellow ambassadors or group settings to raise support.
Give us one fun fact about you. By the time I was 12, I'd been bitten by two different snakes. Very odd, but almost a 3rd time many years later, all within the same area of my childhood home in Euless.
