Company: Founder and President of Shoppa's Material Handling
What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer? I've been blessed with an incredible mother, wife, and daughter. Supporting Susan G. Komen is my way of helping others enjoy more time with the people they love.
What makes you VIPink? In 2024, we secured the winning bid for Toyota Material Handling's pink forklift and donated the proceeds to Susan G. Komen. Since then, I've walked alongside our team and heard their stories. What makes me VIPink is learning how many of our employees have been affected by breast cancer and feeling their strength and determination as we fight together.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors? At Shoppa's, our motto is "We Get Things Moving." For me, that means never standing still, always moving forward with purpose, momentum, and resolve. It's how I lead, it's how I live, and it's how I support causes that matter. Ending breast cancer demands that same relentless pursuit until our goal is reached.
Give us one fun fact about you. In 1986, I became the youngest Toyota forklift dealer. My wife, Janie, made history as the first woman at TCU to earn a full athletic scholarship. Those experience shaped a belief we carry to this day - that determination and hard work can change outcomes. It's that same belief that fuels our commitment to supporting the fight against breast cancer.
