After being diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in 2020, I have made it my goal to bring as much awareness and knowledge to women, especially women of color, about the importance of breast health. Getting annual mammograms and, in the unfortunate cases when a woman is diagnosed, helping to connect them to Susan G. Komen to access resources and navigate the journey.  And what better month than March, which is Triple-negative breast cancer Awareness Month!

I am a passionate and involved member of both the Colorado Community Board and committees, and I bleed PINK!
