What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
After my mom passed away in 2003, I knew I wanted to learn more about how to raise awareness about breast cancer and find a cure. So, I did some research and came across Susan G. Komen Southeast WI MORE THAN PINK Walk and formed Team Goldie.
What makes you VIPink?
I am a strong advocate for breast cancer research and community involvement. Since my mom passed away, I have moderated breast cancer symposiums, lobbied on Capitol Hill in Madison and DC with WBCC and NBCC, and started a podcast, The Pink Table Talk.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
My likeability in the community and humble personality.
Give us one fun fact about you.
I was captain of my high school cheerleading squad.
