When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023 the first thing I searched for was a resource that could provide me a comprehensive overview of treatment options, current research and support resources that I would need in my journey. Komen does just that, along with building a community of patients, medical providers and care givers.

I feel that if I can be open about my diagnosis and treatment journey and the role that Susan G. Komen played, I can help highlight why it is important to support this organization, its research efforts and the educational and support resources that it provides to all that are diagnosed with breast cancer.

I am newly retired from a 40 year career in financial services and am finding that for all women there can be an exciting next chapter filled with purpose and a good dose of fun!

I will work super hard to get the story of why it is so important to support Susan G. Komen so their work can continue to fund cutting edge research and provide patient support - and I look good in pink!
