What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
My involvement with Susan G. Komen started almost 25 years ago when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Right after my first child was born, my mom found out she had cancer. Since then, I have known many friends and family who have battled against breast cancer and I am committed to helping this great organization in their mission to end breast cancer.
What makes you VIPink?
I'm energized and ready to make a difference!
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
I am more of a one-on-one "organizer" in my quest to raise money; so my competitive edge will be my one-on-one "asks".
Give us one fun fact about you
I have pieces of the Berlin Wall (Germany) that I knocked down with my own "hammer".
