I feel connected to Susan G. Komen and its breast cancer mission because this fight impacts so many friends, family, and colleagues. Breast cancer doesn’t just affect individuals, it affects entire communities.

I advocate in my community, engaging in my personal and professional network.

What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?

Collaboration always leads to greater impact. I don’t see myself as having a competitive edge, but rather as part of a team of ambassadors. Working towards the same goal, raising awareness and funds to end breast cancer. By supporting each other, we amplify our impact and reach more people.

I have had the honor and privilege of serving on numerous community boards and committees. At times I have lost track of all my past volunteer roles until someone reminds me of our past community engagements.
