What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
Breast cancer has unfortunately played a significant role throughout my life. My mother, Dana, was diagnosed when I was just 9 years old, which had a profound and lasting impact on me. My sister, Angela, and both of my sisters in law, Barbara & Kim, have all been diagnosed in the years since. My wife, Kathleen, also survived breast cancer at the age of 23.
What makes you VIPink?
You'll often find me proudly sporting my pink tie at events such as breast cancer awareness walks, Susan G. Komen fundraisers, and community gatherings dedicated to supporting the fight against breast cancer. Whether engaged in educational seminars, corporate campaigns, or virtual initiatives, my pink tie is a visible symbol of my commitment to raising awareness and making a positive impact in the ongoing battle against breast cancer.
What will be your competitive edge against your fellow ambassadors?
My son, Parker, was just born in January. He will be sporting his very own baby Pink Tie to help Dad out with his campaign.
