I feel deeply connected to Susan G. Komen because breast cancer has directly impacted my family and close friends. I have two sisters who are both breast cancer survivors, and I've witnessed firsthand the strength, resilience, and hope that come with their journeys. Additionally, I have numerous girlfriends who have battled this disease and supporting them through their own battles has strengthened my resolve to raise awareness and fund research for a cure.
I am VIPink because I carry the stories of my two sisters, both survivors, and stories of my girlfriends who have faced this disease. I stand with them in hope, strength, and the belief that we can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Plus, I've been thinking of purchasing a wig... and I don't see any better way to begin my wig journey than with a Pink Wig.
I am going after the title of 2025 Colorado “Biggest Wig” because:
#1 My personal connection to my sisters and my dearest friends
#2 I am a Master Connector
#3 I am a Fearless Fundraiser
My happy place is traveling with my husband to the most remote national forests for dispersed camping. We love disconnecting from the world and embracing the peace of nature. And I've mastered the art of pooping in the woods - nothing like truly going off the grid.
