Tia Janet
My Tia
My Tia was a beautiful, graceful, and intelligent woman. Someone I will forever admire and look up to. Her way of life was to live fully, enjoy every moment, and find the beauty in all things. She always reminded us, Do not let people steal your energy.
The advice she gave was raw, but it always came from a place of love and wisdom. As a kid, I remember watching her get ready for her nights out or for work, always in awe of her confidence and beauty. When she walked into a room, she owned it effortlessly.
For two years, she battled breast cancer with every ounce of her strength?never letting discouraging news stop her from fighting. Her attitude was always, Okay, what?s next? Lets do this. Cancer was something she refused to let define her. It is not taking my beauty or my spirit, she would say.
She fought with such strength, grace, and poise until her last breath on February 6, 2025. My beautiful Tia took her final breath surrounded by her family. A day I will forever remember. I love you, Tia. You are always in my thoughts and in my heart.
