What makes you feel connected to Susan G. Komen and our mission to end breast cancer?
I feel very connected to Susan G. Komen and the mission to end breast cancer as it has impacted so many people that I love. My mother, Gerri Ehlke is a breast cancer survivor. My paternal grandmother, my Aunt Jenny and Aunt Lou Ann, as well as many close friends have/are battling breast cancer.
Where might people get to see you with your wig on?
My husband is currently at the FBI academy in Quantico Virginia for 10 weeks. He graduates in March right as we launch the campaign. I look forward to wearing my wig at his graduation and around DC.
What will be your competitive edge against the other BigWigs?
My competitive edge against my GE competitors is the pure span of supportive people that I have the privilege of working with every day that I excited to see show up and support me. What is one fun fact about you?
I am a self-proclaimed "over volunteerer." As a mom of two teenage girls, you will find me coaching sports teams, having led a girl scout troop of 30 girls, team mom, and many other various volunteer positions.
