Your schedule on October 24th, (or a date that works better for you) is YOUR own. Walk Where You Are is yours and you decide how you would like to make an impact on that special day. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Want some guidelines in setting up your event day schedule? Here are some recommendations:

• Flexibility: Participants/Teams can choose their own, route, distance, and time to walk, often during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). But this event can be at the date of your choosing!
• Purpose: While you raise critical funds for breast cancer research, patient care support services, and community education, we also hope you find time to celebrate your fundraising success while walking with the ones you care about
• Participation: Individuals and teams, including, breast cancer survivors and supporters, can register online, fundraise, and walk in their own, communities.
• Virtual Experience: While walking, participants can still connect with the broader Komen community, share their journey, and support others, impacted by the disease.

Do you want to be a part of the Komen Legends Club?

Individuals that raise $2,500 or more will be recognized as a Komen Legend. Check the Legends accordion for more information!

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives by October 24, you must have raised your first $100 by September 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

How long is the Walk?

The distance is up to you, anything from 1-3 miles is what we suggest. You can choose your distance based on anything from how much time you want to give to a number that is significant for you and the reason you are participating. For example, if someone you love is celebrating their second year of survivorship you could walk two miles. Or if they did 18 radiation treatments, you could walk 1.8 miles. But really, it’s all your choice. It's an opportunity to be part of our community and support our mission from anywhere you are located.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives. To receive a Fundraising T-shirt, you must raise $100 by at 11:59 p.m. CT.

2026 Komen Legends

Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, including the 2026 Komen Virtual Walk Where You Are MORE THAN PINK Walk, 2026 Race for the Cure, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising.
