Are you looking for volunteer opportunities in your community? There are currently open positions on the New Jersey Event Experience Committee. Roles include fostering connections to new people and companies, community outreach, event planning, and raffle prize collection. Ending breast cancer needs all of us. We hope you’ll join us. Partners in Pink convenes Komen’s corporate and community partners for an evening of purposeful networking and informed discussion focused on advancing breast cancer care, research, and support across New Jersey.

Event Day Schedule

We look forward to coming together to walk to end breast cancer with you on Sunday, October 25, 2026! 

8:00 a.m. | Event site opens
Explore our four pillar zones (Research, Care, Community and Action), visit the “We Remember” tent, meet our valued sponsors and more.

9:15 a.m. | Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer meet at Hope Village. While in Hope Village make sure you grab a postcard on ShareForCures, Komen’s breast cancer research registry focused on finding the cures for breast cancer. Learn how you can accelerate discoveries, make an impact, and be a catalyst for change! Don’t miss your chance to be in our group photo! This is also when we’ll get ready for the Opening Ceremony.

9:30 a.m. | Opening Ceremony
Honor survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer as they walk down the Pathway of Hope; celebrate our top fundraisers; and listen to inspiring stories of resilience.

9:45 a.m. | Walk begins

Activities for Survivors & Those Living with MBC

This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:

Hope Village Celebration

All survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer and a guest are invited to the Hope Village tent to enjoy snacks, refreshments, and other activities. Only survivors and metastatic thrivers will receive a swag bag of goodies donated by sponsors. There will be beaded necklaces to celebrate each year of survivorship.

Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade

All survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer will unite and walk into our Opening Ceremony.

ShareForCures

Grab a ShareForCures postcard in Hope Village and dive into the groundbreaking world of Komen’s ShareForCures, a research registry focused only on finding the cures for breast cancer. Be part of something extraordinary and empower the fight against breast cancer. Your participation accelerates discoveries, making a real impact on lives. Don't miss this chance to be a catalyst for change!

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Activities for Top Fundraisers & Teams

Susan G. Komen’s work would not be possible without our fundraisers. It is our honor to recognize those fundraisers who go above and beyond with their efforts and support – our Top Individuals and Top Teams. 

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+

On event morning, follow the Top Fundraiser signs to the area reserved just for you! You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd, and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by generous local partners. 

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Survivors are not required to fundraise to receive a shirt. If you do not register and fundraise your first $100 prior to 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2026, please allow 6-8 weeks after the Walk occurs for your t-shirt to arrive in the mail.

Top Teams – Teams who raise $2,500+

Every team that raises $2,500 or more will receive a tent and table in our Top Teams area. We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks and items to share with team members.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by Sunday, September 27, 2026. Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after Sunday, September 27, 2026 will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is Sunday, November 22, 2026.

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

How long is the Walk?

The 2026 Komen North Jersey MORE THAN PINK Walk will be approximately 1.7 miles in length with an option to do a second loop around the Waterfront for a longer 3.4 miles.

Getting to the Event and Parking

Free parking for participants is located near the Clipper Pavilion Parking Lot at 9 Cherry Lane, West Orange, NJ 07052. More details to come.

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your pet(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your pet and other event participants.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives. To receive a Fundraising T-shirt, you must raise $100 by Sunday, November 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

2026 Komen Legends

Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, including the 2026 Komen North Jersey MORE THAN PINK Walk, 2026 Race for the Cure, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising.
