8:15 a.m. | Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer meet at Hope Village. While in Hope Village make sure you grab a postcard on ShareForCures, Komen’s breast cancer research registry focused on finding the cures for breast cancer. Learn how you can accelerate discoveries, make an impact, and be a catalyst for change! Don’t miss your chance to be in our group photo! This is also when we’ll get ready for the Opening Ceremony.

Activities for Survivors & Those Living with MBC
This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:
Hope Village Celebration
All survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer and a guest are invited to the Hope Village tent to enjoy snacks, refreshments, and other activities. Only survivors and metastatic thrivers will receive a swag bag of goodies donated by sponsors. There will be beaded necklaces to celebrate each year of survivorship.
Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade
All survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer will unite and walk into our Opening Ceremony.

Grab a ShareForCures postcard in Hope Village and dive into the groundbreaking world of Komen’s ShareForCures, a research registry focused only on finding the cures for breast cancer. Be part of something extraordinary and empower the fight against breast cancer. Your participation accelerates discoveries, making a real impact on lives. Your Event T-shirt
All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+
On event morning, follow the Top Fundraiser signs to the area reserved just for you! You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd, and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by generous local partners.
Your Walk T-shirt
All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Survivors are not required to fundraise to receive a shirt. If you do not register and fundraise your first $100 prior to 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2026, please allow 6-8 weeks after the Walk occurs for your t-shirt to arrive in the mail.
Top Teams – Teams who raise $2,500+
Every team that raises $2,500 or more will receive a table in our Top Teams area. We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks and items to share with team members. Only Team Captains and $1,000+ individual fundraisers will receive a swag bag of goodies donated by sponsors.

Local T-Shirt Details
We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .
*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.
Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.
How long is the Walk?
The will be approximately 2 miles long with an option for a shorter, 1-mile route.
Getting to the Event and Parking
Free parking for all participants is located on site at the Hurricane Harbor parking lot. We encourage participants to arrive early. The parking lot opens at 7:00 a.m. No parking passes are needed to access the Walk Day site.
Parking for Walk day will be in Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags overflow lots and is FREE until 9:00 a.m. All cars will need to be out of the Hurricane Harbor lot by 11:00 a.m.
If you plan to go into the theme park after the walk, participants will need to move their vehicle to the main entrance lot and pay the usual theme park parking fee.
Are strollers allowed at the event?
Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!
Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?
No. For the safety of event participants/due to local regulations, only service animals will be allowed at the event.
What is the deadline for fundraising?
All donations on your behalf will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives. To receive a Fundraising T-shirt, you must raise $100 by at 11:59 p.m. CT.
2026 Komen Legends
Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for any 2026 MORE THAN PINK Walk, including the 2026 Komen Central Jersey MORE THAN PINK Walk, 2026 Race for the Cure, or 2026 3-Day will be recognized as members of the 2026 Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising.
