Our Leadership
The 2025 Komen Indianapolis MORE THAN PINK Walk is honored to work with these dedicated community leaders who volunteer their time in support of Komen’s mission to end breast cancer forever.
Meet our 2025 Event Chair
Shawn Rinker
Noblesville Schools
Shawn has been a volunteer with Susan G. Komen and the MORE THAN PINK Walk event for the past four years and this is her third year as the Event Chair. While not a survivor herself, she has had family connections to breast cancer. Her paternal grandmother passed away from breast cancer and her mother-in-law is a survivor. Because of her family, Shawn decided to get involved to raise money and awareness to help find a cure.
“The MORE THAN PINK Walk event is not only a fundraising event, but a great opportunity to celebrate our survivors, recognize family and friends, and honor those that we have lost” says Shawn. She is proud of the MORE THAN PINK Walk event that is put on for our participants and looks forward to an even better event this year at Historic Military Park at White River State Park.
In her professional life, Shawn is a developmental early childhood teacher employed by Noblesville School system. Personally, Shawn has been married for 29 years, resides in Noblesville, IN and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, yard work, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
