Hope Village Celebration | 7:30 am- 11:00 am

Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer and a guest can join us in Hope Village before and after the MORE THAN PINK Walk. Hope Village is our place to celebrate the power of our breast cancer community with food and drinks, activities, and a special place for you to enjoy the walk day.

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Activities for Top Fundraisers & Teams

Susan G. Komen’s work would not be possible without our fundraisers. It is our honor to recognize those fundraisers who go above and beyond with their efforts and support – our Top Individuals and Top Teams. 

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+

On event morning we invite you to join us in Hope Village for a special celebration of your efforts. You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.

Top Teams – Teams who raise $5,000+

Every team that raises $5,000 or more will receive a tent and table in our Top Teams area. We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks and items to share with team members.

Komen Legends Club

Ready to make your fundraising legendary? Participants who raise $2,500 or more for the Austin MORE THAN PINK Walk will be recognized as members of the brand-new Komen Legends Club. Once you become a Legend, you’ll receive exclusive benefits, including a commemorative lapel pin. Additional information will be emailed to participants as they approach $2,500 in fundraising. We look forward to welcoming our Legends to the Club this year!

Promotion open to Komen Milwaukee MTPW 2024, Komen New Jersey MTPW 2024, Komen Colorado MTPW 2024, Komen Austin MTPW 2024 and Walk Where You Are 2024 registrants that have raised at least $2,500 USD through their personal Komen fundraising site between June 28, 2024 — December 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST. When registrants reach the fundraising goal, they will receive a congratulatory email from Komen with instructions for redeeming the membership benefits. Commemorative lapel pins will be shipped to the contact Komen has on record for those that reach the fundraising goal. While supplies last. Promotion may end at any time. Void where prohibited.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

How long is the Walk?

The will be 1.5 miles in length.

Parking at the event.

Free parking for all participants is located at on-site at Barton Creek Square.
Parking is open in any lot, other than VIP parking, which is open to passholders only.

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your pet(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your pet and other event participants.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf that are received through November 24 at 11:59 p.m. CT will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives.
