8:20 am | Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer meet at Hope Village.

Hope Village Celebration | 7:00 am
Join us in the Hope Village area for a free hot breakfast & coffee for you and 1 guest, fun giveaways, photos and fellowship with other breast cancer survivors and those currently living with metastatic breast cancer.
Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade | 8:20 am
Walk day is all about our survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer! All will unite and walk into our Opening Ceremony.

Your Event T-shirt
All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT. If you do not register prior to 11:59 PM on September 22, please allow 6-8 weeks after the Walk occurs for your survivor T shirt to arrive in the mail.

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+
On event morning, follow the Top Fundraiser signs to the area reserved just for you! You’ll be gifted a special Top Fundraiser item to help you stand apart from the crowd, and we invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by generous local partners.
Your Walk T-shirt
All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Shirts are customized and made to order. In the event you do not raise your first $100 by September 22, please allow 6-8 weeks following the day of the walk to receive your t-shirt in the mail.
Top Teams – Teams who raise $5,000+
Every team that raises $5,000 or more by Friday, October 11 will have the opportunity to receive a tent and table in our Top Teams Tailgate area. We encourage our top teams to bring snacks, drinks and items to share with your team members.

Local T-Shirt Details
We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by at 11:59 PM CT. Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after at 11:59 PM CT will receive your shirt(s) by mail approximately 6-8 weeks after the day of the Walk event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is .
*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur. Shirts are customized and made to order. In the event you do not raise $100 by the September 22 deadline, please allow 6-8 weeks following the day of the Walk to receive your T-shirt(s) in the mail.
Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.
How long is the Walk?
The will be approximately 2 miles in length.
Getting to the Event and Parking
Free parking for all participants will be located in the Amelia Earhart Parking lots via the Palm Avenue Entrance.
Are strollers allowed at the event?
Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!
Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?
For the safety of event participants/due to local regulations, only service animals will be allowed at the event.
What is the deadline for fundraising?
All donations on your behalf that are received through November 17 at 11:59 p.m. CT will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives.
