This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:

Hope Village Celebration | 7:00 am - 9:00 am

Join us in the Hope Village area for breakfast, mocktails and a special photo booth provided by OMG Photo Booth DFW

8:00 a.m. | Survivors and those living with MBC meet in Hope Village for the official 2024 photo.

8:30 a.m. | Pathway of Hope/Survivor and those living with MBC Parade. All survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will lead the way for the 2024 Walk.

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Activities for Top Fundraisers & Teams

Susan G. Komen’s work would not be possible without our fundraisers. It is our honor to recognize those fundraisers who go above and beyond with their efforts and support – our Top Individuals and Top Teams. 

Top Fundraisers – Individuals who raise $1,000+

On event morning, individuals who raise $1,000+ will gain access to the Top Fundraiser, VIP tent on Walk day. We invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary mocktails, breakfast, and a photo booth provided by generous local partners.

Your Walk T-shirt

All top fundraisers will earn this year’s commemorative event shirt. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on Walk morning, you must have raised your first $100 by Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Top Teams – Teams who raise $2,500+

Every team that raises $2,500 or more will gain access into the Top Fundraiser, VIP tent on Walk day. We invite you to pop in and enjoy complimentary mocktails, breakfast and a photo booth provided by generous local partners.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. In order to receive your shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register and/or fundraise $100+ by . Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register, and participants who raise $100, after will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is 167902.

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

How long is the Walk?

The 2024 Ohio Volley for the Cure will be 3 miles in length, or you may choose to walk our shorter 1 mile route. 

Getting to the Event and Parking

Please check back closer to the event for detailed parking information and event maps.
Free parking for all participants is located at The Shops at Clearfork.

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your pet(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your pet and other event participants.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf that are received through 167902 at 11:59 p.m. CT will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives.

Local Fundraising Challenges

Susan G. Komen wants to honor those special to you at the Greater Ft. Worth MORE THAN PINK Walk on Saturday, October 5th. All teams who’ve raised a specific amount (see levels below) by Sunday, September 15th will have their “why” displayed on signs and banners around the walk..

Raise $2,500 to get the name of the person(s) you walk for on the “I Walk For” banner in our event day area

Raise $5,000 to get the name of the person(s) you walk for on an individual sign to be placed in a prominent location on the walk route.

Raise $7,500+ to get the name and picture of the person(s) you walk for on an individual sign to be placed in a prominent location on the walk route.
