Black women in the U.S. experience higher death rates from breast cancer due to a combination of factors, including delays in follow-up care after an abnormal mammogram, being diagnosed with more advanced and aggressive breast cancers, systemic racism and discrimination, and a lack of high-quality care.
That’s why we’re doing everything in our power to address the racial inequities of breast cancer—ensuring equal access to healthcare, increasing diversity in patient services, addressing cultural barriers, funding research to identify the causes of racial disparity in outcomes, and much, much more.
But we can’t do it without the support of people like you.
Take a step toward making the world a better place.
