Thank You for Visiting My Tribute Page!

The Big Pink Volleyball Tournament is a weeklong philanthropic volleyball tournament held at the University of Central Oklahoma with one giant twist-- it is played with a four foot tall inflatable pink volleyball. This is a program committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those impacted by breast cancer in Central Oklahoma area. In its first four years, Big Pink was able to raise just under $30000. These proceeds were able to go directly to women and men that are affected by breast cancer in the Central Oklahoma Area. During last year's tournament, we had 86 teams register with over 600 participants and many more spectators and fans. The 2019 Big Pink Volleyball Tournament will take place this year from February 25-28. February This event is student-planned, student-led, and open to all in the community to participate!
You may donate online with your credit card by clicking the “donate” button at the top of this page. Every donation counts and allows Susan G. Komen ® to fund vital national research, as well as education, screening and treatment services in our communities.

Please Know Your Your Breast Health...

The key to survival is early detection.

The greatest risk factors for breast cancer are being female and growing older. Breast cancer knows no boundary, be it age, gender, socio-economic status or geographic location. We must continue to keep breast cancer top of mind because it affects so many!

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That’s one in eight within your company, school and organization. Now is the time to take action, to secure a long, healthy future for our mothers, daughters, sisters and friends!

Three simple steps for early detection are regular mammograms, clinical exams and breast self- exams. It is important to make healthy lifestyle choices.

And, remember, breast cancer affects more than just the patient; friends and family need support too.

Susan G. Komen…

For the past 25 years, Komen has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer transforming how the world talks about and treats this disease and helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.

Over the next 25 years, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer if we don’t find a cure. Komen will not stop until the cures are found and delivered.

We Will Find the Cure!
