Living in gratitude! Being the daughter and niece of women with breast cancer I always went for my scans. I don't carry the known genes. But still, in October 2019 I was diagnosed with stage3 +++ breast cancer. In February 2021, I completed my treatment plan. Just today August 2021, I received confirmation through a breast MRI that all is "normal". Grateful I am surviving! Living each day, choosing happiness.
However, 46 years after my Mother's diagnosis we are still battling this devastating disease. We're dying or more often today we're surviving with life altering side effects that are rarely discussed.
Therefore, this year, I registered for the Komen Race for the Cure because I wanted to take action and be More Than Pink. I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer and need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Funds raised help support breakthrough research and help for the women and men facing breast cancer today who need our support now, as much as ever. Whether it's emotional support via Komen's helpline, financial support through Komen's treatment assistance program, or help navigating their care journey, Komen will be there for them.
In moments like this, your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let's show breast cancer patients there's a whole community standing by their side.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
