Well, Michelle is biologically Karen's oldest. Keith is by marriage as Michelle's husband. Mitch & Lindsay are Karen's grandkids and Keith & Michelle's kids. Chelsea is an honorary member as Mitch's wife. (We know Karen would have approved.)
We are walking this year to celebrate the memory of our mom, mother-in-law, and grandkids.
Karen was 57 when she passed from metastatic breast cancer. Our lives were better because of her love and support. Even though Mitch & Lindsay had such a short time with her, their memories are of nothing but love due to the way she cared for them and everyone around her.
Join us in celebrating Karen's life, love and legacy by donating to the Komen More Than Pink walk. It was her hope that her experience be one that would benefit those in similar circumstances. Together we can help others experiencing cancer have hope and an opportunity to experience the love surrounding them.
