This year, our family is walking in the Susan G. Komen Tulsa Race for the Cure in honor of my mom, Kelly Hensley, who is courageously battling breast cancer.
Over the past several months, she has faced a double mastectomy and is now undergoing chemotherapy. Through every appointment, every challenge, and every unknown, she has met this journey with incredible strength, unwavering faith, and a grateful heart. She rarely complains, always finds something to be thankful for, and continues to be the heart of our family.
Watching someone you love fight cancer is heartbreaking. There are so many moments when you wish you could take away their pain, but you can’t. Participating in this walk and raising funds for breast cancer research is one way we can stand beside her, honor her courage, and help bring hope to others facing this disease.
If you’re able, we would be so grateful for your support—whether through a donation, joining our team, or simply keeping my mom and all those affected by breast cancer in your prayers.
Thank you for helping us celebrate her strength and support the fight for a future without breast cancer.
