My Story
Much to my surprise, I was diagnosed with stage 1 invasive ductal breast cancer in March of this year. I had a successful lumpectomy and 1 lymph node removal in May. I will be starting chemo on June 29 followed by radiation after that. I have been so fortunate to have amazing, empathetic doctors, nurses and other medical staff and sooo many friends and family supporting and praying for me, especially my husband, Dave, to help me through this journey.
