My name is Silvi, and Carolyn is my wife.

After 13 years together, we finally celebrated our wedding surrounded by our family and friends. We thought we were stepping into one of the happiest chapters of our lives.

Just 188 days later, everything changed.

In April 2026, Carolyn was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Instead of packing our bags for a long awaited trip to Aruba, we found ourselves preparing for scans, appointments, and chemotherapy.

This year was also supposed to be a milestone as Carolyn turned 40. We had planned a big celebration with the people we love. Instead, we're celebrating her a little differently. The party can wait. Right now, we're focused on getting Carolyn healthy, making memories, and looking forward to the day we can celebrate with even more gratitude than before.

If there is one thing this journey has taught us, it's not to wait. We make the most of every good day. We take walks in the park, explore close to home with our dogs, laugh a little harder, and appreciate the simple moments that used to pass us by.

Through it all, Carolyn has faced every challenge with incredible strength, grace, and determination. Even on the hardest days, she chooses hope. Her positivity has inspired not only me, but everyone around her.

We created this team to support Carolyn through her fight and to honor every person and family affected by breast cancer. Thank you for walking beside us, supporting this cause, and helping bring hope to families like ours.
