My Story
For the 5th year in a row, I am joining the Komen community and participating in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk on Sunday September 27th. It is always a very uplifting and emotional day, seeing the magnitude of people affected by this disease.
I am a breast cancer survivor, and recently crossed the very important milestone of 5 years cancer-free, and able to discontinue my treatment. I am so thankful for the research and progress in breast cancer treatment that made this possible. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever. For me, and my family and friends that have faced this difficult diagnosis, I am committed to helping find a cure.
