My Story
This is my 15th year walking in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk — and every single year, I walk for the same reason.
I am a breast cancer survivor. I know firsthand the fear, the uncertainty, and the profound gratitude of coming out the other side. I also know the heartbreak of loss — I lost my beloved sister to breast cancer, and not a day goes by that I don't carry her with me.
That is why I walk. That is why I joined the Komen OC Community Board. And that is why I am asking for your help.
Your donation — in any amount — funds breakthrough research and provides real, tangible support to patients who are in the fight right now: a helpline to call when fear sets in, financial assistance when bills pile up, and navigation services to help people access the care they deserve.
Fifteen years of walking has taught me that we are stronger together. Will you stand with me — and with every woman and family facing this disease — by making a donation today?
Every dollar brings us one step closer to the world I'm walking toward: one where no one loses a sister.
